General characteristics: Medium difficulty, it has the rare opportunity of letting people experience wild areas of flora and fauna, glaciers and the main attractions of our region while enjoying the creature comforts of modern hotels.
Day 1:
Meeting at the Punta Arenas airport and transfer to Estancia Perales, located in the Ultima Esperanza Sound, 40 kilometres north Puerto Natales. Dinner upon arrival and stay overnight.
Day 2:
Breakfast Navigation to Serrano Glacier via local ferry service, crossing to Monte Balmaceda Lodge followed by lunch. In the afternoon, 7-hour hiking to Brush Lake. Along the route you may have the opportunity to see the Southern Ice Field, Mount Balmaceda, Paine Mountain Range, the abundant flora of the pre Antarctic rainforests. Upon arrival setting up camp and dinner.
Day 3:
After breakfast, break camp and hike back to the Cabañas del Paine Hotel (estimated time: 7 hours) Dinner upon arrival and stay overnight.
Day 4:
Breakfast Full day excursion in Torres del Paine National Park (vehicle, driver, bilingual tour guide and lunch box). Back to the hotel in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5:
Breakfast Full day excursion to Base de las Torres. Transfer to and from the hotel is included and a 7-hour trekking to the impressive granite fingers. Lunch box en route. Back to the hotel in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6:
Breakfast in the morning, transfer to Punta Arenas and afternoon city tour and excursion to Fuerte Bulnes, 60 kilometres south Punta Arenas. We can see the colonization area and the Strait of Magellan. Dinner and overnight stay in Estancia Río de los Ciervos.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Early departure from the Estancia for the navigation to Marta and Magdalena Islands to visit a Penguin Colony of over 150,000 penguins and more than 1,000 sea lions. Transfer to the airport.
Observations:
