Itinerary:
Day 1:
Set sail from Punta Arenas, crossing the Strait of Magellan, Gabriel Channel, Almirantazgo Fjord, while enjoying the beautiful Darwin mountain range and the glaciers of Tierra del Fuego Island. Camping at Caleta María at dusk.
Day 2:
Early walk to reach Fagnano lake. Cross of Azopardo River and transfer to our shelter.
Stay overnight.
Day 3:
After a refreshing rest, start the return by 4×4 vehicles, while taking in the spectacular Fueguian forest. Visit to Deseado and Despreciado lakes, where you may have the opportunity to see “beaver dams”. Lunch en route. In the afternoon, enter the vast pampa, where you will be able to see numerous herds of guanacos. Following this you will start the return to Punta Arenas by navigating the Strait of Magellan across Primera Angostura.
